Nico Musoke Faces Bojan Velickovic at UFC Fight Night 109 (5/28/17)

It hit media this week that Nicholas Musoke will face Bojan Velickovic at UFC Fight Night 109 that's headlined by Glover Teixeira and Alexander Gustafsson. The event will be held in Stockholm Sweden, and the fights will be on (5/28/17)

Nico Musoke is an always scrappy fighter in that he has finished NINE of his Thirteen fights.

Since he's debuted in The UFC, he has an impressive record of (3 Wins) (2 Losses). In that, he subbed Longtime MMA Vet, Alessio Sakara early in the First Round.

In the fight, he showcased a tough chin getting rocked by the always hard hitting Sakara, but Musoke showcased and recovered quickly even rocking and brawling back with Sakara. You HAVE to have a tough chin to brawl in that Musoke showed this in that fight.

He showed excellent Top Control controlling Sakara nicely, and then hitting a BEAUTIFUL Juji-Gatame (Fight was at Middlweight/185).

He'd next fight Viscardi Andrade in that Musoke won by Unanimous Decision in his Welterweight UFC Debut (170 Pounds).

He'd next fight Kelvin Gastelum in that in the first round he tagged Gastelum and clinched him against the cage, before scrambling and beautifully taking his back. He also showcased in the first round he is good at going for the legs taking down Gastelum violently with a near head-landing experience.

In doing so, he showcased BEAUTIFUL Top Control controlling Gastelum for the remainder of the round.

He'd later grind Yakovlev to win a Unanimous Decision, and would next lose a Unanimous Decision to Tumenov.

Musoke has only been finished ONCE in his entire career, and all the fights I've seen, he has impressive cardio, so if this goes the distance, he has good cardio to back it up. He's a finisher and a well-rounded fighter that doesn't mind to brawl, but once it hits the mat, you're in deep waters.

We now move to Bojan Velickovic

Bojan Velickovic (14-4-1) (11 Finishes) (8 Submissions) (3 KO/TKO's)

Bojan, like Musoke, is a finisher having finished 11 of his 14 fights with 8 by Submission and 3 by KO/TKO's, he's always looking for a finish. He like Musoke has good cardio, so if this goes the distance, he has good cardio to back himself up and output a lot of strikes or grappling transitions.

Like Musoke before him, he loves to grapple with his opponents, and has excellent top control and is good fighting off his back and isn't afraid to throw for submissions on his opponents.

To demonstrate this, watch this fight below in which he became The RFA Welterweight Champion

He would go onto fighting in The UFC and first face Alessio Di Chirico and showcase excellent top control and win via Unanimous Decision, then face Mike Graves which went to a Draw, and then dropped a Split Decision to Sultan Aliev.

This is a well-rounded fight in that both are primarily grapplers with excellent top control, so if this hits the ground, expect crazy transitions from one another.

In stating this, will we see them implement a gameplan that focuses on stand-up because both are dangerous on the ground?

The only way to find out is at UFC Fight Night 109 which is stated for (5/28/17)!

I hope you all enjoyed the preview, and don't forget to set your calenders for not only this fight, but the card itself is stacked!
